Most home installations involve mounting a wall charger in your garage or carport, running a dedicated circuit from your switchboard, and making sure the installation meets all NZ electrical regulations. Every installation we do comes with a Certificate of Compliance — it's required by law and protects you if you ever sell your home.
The whole process typically takes half a day. You send us photos of your switchboard and where you'd like the charger, we provide a fixed-price quote remotely, and then we book in the installation. No shortcuts, no mess.

Most modern switchboards can handle a 7.4 kW EV charger without any trouble — you just need a spare circuit. Older fuse boards (pre-RCD) often need upgrading, and we'll tell you upfront if that's the case. Adding a 32A circuit for a Level 2 charger is straightforward electrical work for a registered electrician.
